Midwest Dog Boarding is the best! Ruby can get a bit anxious in new surroundings but at Midwest Dog Boarding she feels right at home, I’m pretty sure she could check herself in (if I let her) �� I admit I took Ruby to a few places before I found Midwest Dog Boarding. It’s almost like finding the right daycare provider for your child. My first meeting with Nick and Shawna was so wonderful and comfortable I just knew Ruby was in loving care. The home away from home for Ruby is important for me and at Midwest Dog Boarding it’s not just a place for Ruby – it’s THE place for her – like spending time with your favorite Uncle, Aunt, and Cousins! There is no doubt for me that Ruby is in great care with Shawna, Nick, and their staff – I can see it on her face that she loves it there. Just the mention of Shawna’s name and Ruby is headed for the car. When we get to Midwest Dog Boarding the smile on her face is so big…it’s full of joy! When I’m traveling, I feel peace knowing Ruby is in the best place with a team that loves what they do. It’s easy to see on the videos they send of Ruby playing in the yard – I’m pretty sure if Ruby could speak human she’d say something like – “it’s great being in the country with Nick and Shawna, I get to play, run, sleep, and eat….I can’t wait to see you special dog too so we can bark loud or dog-watch – I like to do that too...and don’t mind the throne room…I’ve heard it’s a special place for cats--- -HAHA…who wants a quiet pretty room when you can be with dogs like me”….”oh and if I can tell you one more thing I really like it when my special person asks Shawna if they can brush my hair – I like it so much!! There’s lots of special care available at Nick and Shawna’s place - just ask them if you need something, I know they always do their best.
